The Power Of Blogging

Coming from a background of IT, I realized many people lack many aspects of doing a website. But strange enough there are still many people quite successful on the Internet world without the knowledge.

If you feel you must be an expert in IT in order to be successful online. You are totally wrong! I have met more great Gurus like Ewen Chia, Edmund Ng, Stephen A. Pierce . If you ask them about what is HTML they can just simply reply you with only knowing what a web page does and how it can generate money for you.

Actually you do not need to know what it is all about!

To them, websites are virtual real estates that can help you to generate revenue for you online! What they did that many people are also doing is to outsource to others to do their work online for them.

It is what we call working smart and getting more things done this way. It costs money but they do calculate very carefully what they should spend on and ensure there is a ROI (Return of Investment).
If you are new to Internet Marketing and would like to start up, I suggest you sit down and write down what your budget is. Focus on what you want to be good in and create a website from it. One big suggestion if you are just starting out, create a non-Internet Marketing related product, as there are tons of competitions online if you decide to sell something related to Internet Marketing.

I started from scratch with no one knowing who I was, until I started this blog site and I strongly encourage people to start up a blog. As it is the easiest way to setup a website without much knowledge needed online.

A great resource you can start from would be from my web site at www.BlogCashGuide.com, in there you will find 10 videos where I have gone through with baby steps on how you get start blogging today in the next 5 minutes.

Here are some great tips on how you can make money blogging tips

1. Blog On Tips Of Your Interest

The best tips to make money blogging tip is to blog on topic that interests you the most. Make sure you know of a lot about the tips you are writing about. One very good example what types of topic to write is ask yourself these 3 questions.

What have you been doing for the past 3 years?
What is your job scope?
What is your most favorite hobby that you can read about every day but never get bored?

Answer the above questions to find out what type of interests do you have. It is important to know what’s your key interest before you blog about tips you want to share.

When you target yourself as an expert in a field, people may question your articles and advice so it would be safer to always talk about things you know most about so that you can answer their feedback when they contact you.

2. Blog on Tips by Giving Reviews

You can also make money blogging tips on review of other people’s services and products. What you write your reviews, do make sure that you had done your research before you start commenting about the services or products. This is to avoid any people from flaming you for giving false reviews.

In your reviews, you would want to talk about what you like about the product or service. And also, you would want to talk about some disadvantages of the services and have a fair balance in your review so that people will know both sides of the product.

3. Blog on Tips by Asking for Feedback

5 Basic Things Internet Marketers Must Have

The Internet has become a major source of revenue for nearly every kind of business. Whether it is big corporations or home business owners, every one can be found having an Internet presence through which they hope to multiply their prospects and earn huge profits. The Internet offers cheap means of advertising and promoting while exposing any business to a virtually limitless market.

Successful marketers rely on certain tools for Internet marketing and a few of these are listed below.

Email This is obvious to most people but what needs to be stressed is that you must have an email account that has a large storage capacity. These days, emails are not just plain text and your mailbox must not flood over through heavy attachments.

Auto Responder Beyond a certain limit it becomes impossible to handle all your emails personally. In the old days, businesses employed secretaries to handle the mail. Now, you must get an Auto Responder.

You will receive many kinds of email and you will need a system that can automatically detect the nature of the email and generate an automated response without you having to get personally involved. Sometimes it might just be a matter of letting someone know that you are aware of their interest and you would like to thank them personally, the automatic responded can do that for you.

List Server This server is helpful with handling incoming inquiries, requests, orders, and complaints. List servers are basically meant for shooting of large number of mails in an instant with appropriate content. If you are promoting a new product then you can use the list server to instantly email the details to all your members.

PDF Writer EBooks in PDF format are a good way of distributing information and promotional material. You will need a tool that can convert your documents into PDF files. E-Books in PDF format also provide content security in that they cannot be copy-pasted by anyone easily.

Website Like email, a website is also an obvious tool. This is the one place where all your visitors will land first so it must belong to you. There are many cheap solutions for getting your own website and you must make sure you have your own domain name so that all visitors know they are on your website and not sitting on some free host. Your website must be info and useful. Besides products you must also include information and advice that are relevant to your visitors.

There are many tools used by Internet marketers but the above five are the most basic ones and anyone can set them up to promote their business.

Building a business around the perceived want and needs of the target customer base is hardly enough to ensure the attracting element that equates successful purchases being made.

Thus taking the time to research the current needs of the market sentiment would be well worth the trouble as the individual can then identify products that can cater to the said needs.

The importance of this factor should never be underestimated as it is the one factor that separates the successes and failures of any business.

 - 11 -
What They Want

Making it the company mission to understand, cater and design products or services to fit the findings should at the fore front of each business plan.

During the process of garnering a stable and continuous customer base one should consider the reasons the customers keep coming back for the said product or service.

Some of these reasons may include customer satisfaction of the item, pricing of the item, after sales services provided, good and prompt attention given to the customers and many others.

Thus in gaining this knowledge the company can then actively and continuously strive to provide the entire above element at an always improving state.

Some of the ways one can get the information needed to keep the customer satisfied is as follows:

• Encourage the customers to always feedback whether of a positive nature or a negative nature, and when this feedback is received ensure that is given the due attention it was initially promised.

 - 12 -
• Monitor the general sentiments regarding the product, company or service being provided or sold. By using the various tools available on the internet this task is not only easy but its accessibility is worldwide.

• Take the trouble to research and improve on the item being advertised and ensure they stay innovative and relevant.

• Learn from employees who are indirect contact with the customer base about their reasons for their loyalty or lack thereof.

 Top 5 Secrets To Blogging

I have been blogging for almost 4 months now, generating quite a number of visitors lately and I am very happy with my Alexa ranking as it just increased again to 134,000. Thanks guys for your kind support =)

I noticed when I teach my students there are few guidelines that many people fail to do for their blogs so I decided to write an article on my top 5 secrets to creating a good blog!

No. 1 Secret - CONTENT IS KING

Yes, you hear me right. Content is the most important in creating any blog. Without good content, will readers actually bother to come back to read your site? Not only must you have good content but it must be of quality content and do not be too concern about how your blog layout looks like! Anyway people come to your site for the content not to see your nice graphics.

Be as honest as you get in your articles. Do not be afraid to share your ideas in your comments, in fact I realized that the more honest and open I was in my articles, the more people were sharing my information around the Internet.

No. 2 Secret - Find A Good Niche Topic

Before, you go out there and setup your domain or blog. You first have to decide what topic you want your blog to talk about? Let’s say you are good at playing soccer and you want to focus on writing about soccer related topics. Find a good niche market on the internet to find out what people like to know about soccer and create a blog or site based on soccer only!

Example, my site www.gathersuccess.com it focuses mainly on helping others to improve on their sites with topics related to Internet Marketing. Why niche topic? Well the more targeted your topic is the more targeted your readers on your site will be.

Meaning those who visit your site often are the people that are generally interested to know about the topic you want to share!
So like me, I talk most of the time of topics related on Internet Marketing. Have you ever seen me write an article about dog food and soccer?

No. 3 Secret - Forums

Go to forums! Join communities that are related to your topics and share information in those forums, put your signature link in your forum postings to provide more information of your site. This will give you free traffic from visiting forum members.

No. 4 Secret - Install Feedburner

If you have a blog, and you’re not getting indexed by Google. You must install FeedBurner to your site. FeedBurner will help you announce to search engines what you have posted on to your blog to allow RSS readers to subscribe to your site and at the same time the search engine will index your entries on your site! More about feedburner at www.feedburner.com

No. 5 Secret - Register with Technorati.com

Because my website is not only a site but it is also a blog, I can submit my site to Blog Search Engine. One very famous Blog search engine you must know is Technorati.com. I got free traffic coming from Technorati.com every time I post something up onto my blog. It’s VERY useful. Register your blog at www.Technorati.com.

These are my top 5 secrets that I use and implement on my site, I hope you’ll do the same to yours too =) If you have not started a blog and have no clue on where to start, I have actually created a set of videos to help you create a blog in just 10 minutes at www.BlogCashGuide.com . Do take a look, it’s 100% FREE =)

The Eight Steps to Success in Business

The steps that I about to introduce applies to all businesses whether they’re offline or online. What I’m about to share is what I’ve learnt from my past 2 years in business.
Step 1: Find a large and easy to reach niche market
90% of businesses that I have come across (including my first business which was a flea market) are always looking for the hottest product to sell.
In actual fact, that’s the No.1 mistake that most entrepreneur make when they first start out! Instead of looking for a hot product to sell you should actually look for a large and easy to reach niche market where there is a huge demand.

Below is definition of Niche Market

Step 1: Niche Market = High Demand / Suppliers Example: Blue Cars = 10,000 (demand) / 100 (suppliers)

The bigger the amount the better it is as it will be more niche where you will have less competitors.

Step 2: Find a Product or Service the niche market demands for!
We talk about Niche Market but how do you find the product or service that the niche market is looking for?

Here are some of the ways: - Survey your customers - Forum Postings - Blogs - Search Engines - Discussions
Basically, this allows you to know what people are looking for. All you have to do is get in and tell them you offer that service or product.

Step 3: Setup your store front

After you have found your niche market and product you like to offer. You need to setup your store front so that your customers know where to find you when they want the product from you.
Listed below are some of the various store front options: - Internet Website (Recommended as its very low cost) - Rent a shop at a major shopping center - Open Flea / Bazaars markets - Auction (Ebay, Yahoo Auctions)

Step 4. Have a great Sales Team

You have your store, you have your market and product but most importantly you need a great Sales Team. Why is that so because your sales team is the one that will determine your sales in your business.

With a strong sales team, no matter what product or service you sell the team will help grow your business better without you worrying too much.

Here are some various sales teams that are available:
- Employ sales people - Get affiliates to work with you based on commissions - Online Sales Man (Website Sales copy – Recommended low cost)

Step 5. Create a database to collect email addresses

Why email address? Well do you need to pay anything to send an email? No, right? Thus when ever you have a customer you would want to collect three details from them. 1st is their email address and 2nd is that name and lastly their contact number.

With these three details, you can follow up with your current customers to get repeated sales from your customers and build credibility with them.

Step 6. Have a great sales process

Make your payment matters as easy as possible. You do not want to make your customer go through so many steps just to make a payment for you.

Step 7. Make your business scalable

You would want your business to be scalble  Niche Market able so that you can expand your business. There are various ways to scale your business. Here are some of the ways.

- Franchise your business - Allow affiliates programs in your business - Do joint ventures with other businesses

Step 8. Back end, back end and back end!

The most important step of all is back end! You want to keep repeating your processes with your customers again and again with your back end follow-ups and services.

This is where most people find it hard to do as the temptation to fail in this step is rather high as many don’t really do back end and follow-up with customers.

Once all the steps are in process you just need to keep on testing your strategies that you have used in your business until you find the right one that works and keep doing it to be successful.

Recently, I have pretty busy doing SEO and stuff and I was seriously surprised at the response I got and it is working like crazy! I truly believe in the law of attraction and it truly has attracted a lot of people to me!

I have been asking to know more about SEO and many unknown serious marketers online came to me and said hi! And if you know me, for those who contact me always, I will always try to find a way to promote either the person, that is just me - I like to share the love of others..

So what did I learn from these SEO experts who now are my close friends! I think if they’re reading this I think they will kill me for telling because what they told me were their trade secrets.

Actually, everyone knows about this method if they just Google for it, but hearing their experience and getting high demand searches on Google. I was sure what they told me was real and truth!

Have you been busy doing article submissions and don’t know why it seems the keyword you’re targeting does not seem to get ranked highly? Want to know why? You got to email me to find out.. haha.. I just found the key to why some of my keywords are not rank high and it so simple but yet people do the hard way!

Also… I have been secretly using a free tool and I really love it! You want a shortcut to get high page rank keywords? Well instead of you writing a long article and put it on article directories which what many people are doing why not use blog comments?

Yep you heard me right, blog comments can create back links too! And I found this tool here call Blog Comment and the interesting part is that this tool searches Wordpress blog by its keywords.

But wait here is the more interesting part, it also shows you the blogs’ PR ranks. So what can you do with that? Comment in the blog and say HI! and back link back to your site in the comment!
